Actions really do speak louder!

So as I hinted on my Facebook page this week I want to write something about Matthew 7:21:

“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.”

At first this verse might not look significant, but go read the whole of Matthew 7 and it might just have a whole new meaning to you!

You see, Matthew 7 explains exactly what God longs for us to do. Do not judge, Effective prayer, do to others whatever you would like them to do to you, stay on the narrow road, beware of false prophets and build your life on His solid foundation.

The problem in today’s society however is that so many people say they are Christians, but the way they act, and the things they do, clearly says something else. And unfortunately, due to this, the world is seeing Christians as judgmental and somewhat hypocritical , it’s sad, but true.

Matthew 7:21 taught me a powerful lesson; actions really do speak louder than words! But then just the next verse (verse 22) we are also warned that we can do as many good deeds as we want, but if we don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ, it means nothing.

Know Jesus in EVERYTHING you do, and this will all be so much easier than you think!

May our ACTIONS speak louder than our WORDS and may we KNOW Jesus in everything we do and everywhere we go.

You might be the only Bible some people get to read.

Blessings,
